SportSide Concept - interviews
The New York Rangers, looking for stability along their blue line in the absence of Marc Staal, signed defenseman Anton Stralman on Thursday. The deal is for one year. Stralman, who has 11 goals and 63 assists in 212 NHL games, was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the seventh round in 2005. After two seasons in Toronto, he was traded to the Calgary Flames in the summer of 2009 and dealt to the Blue Jackets before the start of that season.
